Thanks for downloading the 2002 Houston Astrodome TV round 2 by ChillyDog!

This was my second attempt at a Monster Jam track, and I think I put together a nice track with a good racing, freestyle, and a new type of track - online freestyle.

Though there are no checkpoints in the racing version, as there have been in my past tracks, I saw that online racing leagues saw checkpoints as a disadvantage, so I left them out on this one. Also, I set all objects to No-collide so that hitting a post, box, etc. won't slow you down.

The freestyle and online freestyle feature several obstacles that have never or rarely been seen in a replica track. In the fountain, notice that there is a "working" water spray. I felt fountains in past tracks weren't realistic, so I decided to once and for all make a realistic, true-to-life one. Also, if you go over the vans in the bus pyramid at the right speed, then you will notice the vans appear to crush. This was done by utilizing the Top-Crush feature in Traxx. Another obstacle to note is the circular quad ramp towards the center of the track. You can get some huge air off this obstacle if it is hit right! A final note is about hitting the quad ramps sideways. It can be done on most of the ramps, but only at the right speed and truck placement, so have fun experimenting with that!

The online freestyle is basically the regular freestyle with boxes, posts, etc. set to No-collide so they won't disrupt your freestyle run when racing online. This version is also intended for those who have lag problems.

Now for the credits. I'd like to first thank Guitar Bill for making Traxx 1.4 freeware. Thanks Bill, we all appreciate it! Secondly, I'd like to thank Phineus for fixing the crushable van. I struggled with it for over a week, and he got it seemingly overnight. You're an amazing guy Phin! As far as the models go, I made them all except for two, the Christmas tree and the dome, which were edited MTM1 models. If you would like to use my models, I don't mind, just please give me credit in the readme. I would like to thank my beta testers, Commander Kupalo, RobbyH14, Mr. Destruction, and GD20. Finally, thanks to KC Vale for having such a great website for MTM2! Thanks, KC, for hosting tracks, trucks, and the best MTM2 forum! KC has a huge bill to pay every year, and he can't pay it alone, so I encourage each of you, if you haven't already, to donate to KC's site so we can keep Vales alive!

I've gotta put an ad in here, so here goes (thanks to RobbyH14 for making the ad):
